Well ladies and gents it's been a long time coming but Inception is finally coming to video. This film has been a real sore spot for me because I am an avid believer in some films have to be witnessed on the big screen. For example films like Star Wars, Iron Man, Hulk, all have to be viewed in the magnitude of a theater, because at home it's just not the same. Anyway, Inception hits the shelves December 7th and I will be first in line to purchase it.
Also Summer 2011 is turning out to be a pretty exiting time for blockbusters. To top the list off Cowboys and Aliens, directed by Jon Favreau and starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, looks to be an epic combo of space and wild west that just makes my mouth water with the thought of top level action. Also the new Marvel movie Thor and the new Pirates of the Caribbean are destined to hit in May. In June it will be X men the first class, along with the Transformer's movie (without Megan "All thumbs" Fox, and Captain America!! Further out, if everything stays on schedule, the new Conan remake and an addition to John Carpenter's The Thing, are both calling to me to be seen.
But closer to home, in December to big hits are coming out, first Tron Legacy and True Grit. Tron Legacy is a must for anyone who remembers the original and True Grit is a Coen master piece. Both will star Jeff Bridges, who is really coming into his own as a powerhouse character performer who was mainly ignored during his early career but is being highlighted now.

True Grit is an exciting one for me, I'm a HUGE Jeff Bridges fan. He's a real talent in my opinion, largely unappreciated in the past, but now they see how great he is.
