Fast Five

Now this is the first film of what is to be a monstrous summer for movies. Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, who could ask for anything more. The film is wall to wall action. From start to finish the audience is bombarded with car chases, shootouts, explosions, and stunts that boggle the mind. Fast Five is a provider of all things as the plot of the film is somewhere between the Italian Job and Ocean's Eleven. The characters from all five films gather under one banner and I am very happy with what I saw.
But....It's not all roses and daises in the land of muscle cars.
Now the perfect action film is something that many have tried in the past and few have pulled off. Stallone's The Expendables was a close call just as Predators was a good gut shot of adrenalin, but there is such a thing as over kill. Dwayne Johnson's character is the perfect definition of this. The all American, no holds bar cop, throws files away, talks in a half assed southern accent and perfects the stare down to a fault. If they could tone down this aspect of the film then home run is the only thing that can follow.
So go out, see the film and see if I'm wrong.
