Dylan Dog and the return of the campy superhero:

Today I purchased Dylan Dog, Dead of Night, and I have to say that I was impress. Dylan Do is a low budget PG13 horror movie shot in the heart of New Orleans. It was released nation wide but paled in comparison to some of the other big budget films that were released during the same time period. Dylan Dog is the shot in the arm that anti twilight vampires need in this era of teen pop crap.
Dylan Dog, played by Brandon Routh, along with his one armed zombie partner stumble around New Orleans in order to solve a client's father's murder. If you were ever a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel than this movie is for you. Filled with great effects and constant comedy relief Routh decides to shed the cloak of a broody comic book hero and dares to wade into the campy delight that made Buffy and Angel so popular. A solid four star draw that I could look forward to seeing again.
