Man on a Ledge

Samantha and I just got up from this one and I have to say it was pretty average. Directed by Asger Leth and listed with some pretty big names like Sam Worthington and Ed Harris, from the previews Man on a Ledge was supposed to be the break out hit of the spring. Sadly it is as it was expected to be, average. The acting was on par with a Point Break instance of a misspent youth and the action was just about right with every other action movie that was out there. The mystery's twists and turns were predictable and even a little rushed as the director chose to spill secrets too soon in the film and then did not both to give a refill before the climatic ending that really wasn't all that climatic.

All in all, it was something that was okay to watch, but not something that couldn't stand to be missed. I would save my renting points and hit up Safe House, it's worth the cash and provides more bang for the buck.
